Rodrigo Sousa Marques holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Legal-Forensic Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. He prepared and defended his Master’s Dissertation in the areas of Urban Planning Law and Urban Rehabilitation Law.
He further enriched his academic background with the Municipal Law Course (2023) and the Advanced Postgraduate Program in Corporate Law: Corporate Finance and Governance (2020-2021).
In the 2021 academic year, he completed a 5-month Curricular Internship in the Intellectual Property Department at UC Business | University of Coimbra.
He has an active and regular civic and associative participation, having been, for several years, a leader of the Law Students’ Union of the Associação académica de Coimbra, as well as an Administrator of the General Directorate of the Associação Académica de Coimbra.
Since April 2024, he has been part of TFRA as a Trainee Lawyer, focusing on the areas of Real Estate, Urban Planning, Construction and Tourism Law, as well as Public Procurement.
He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
